About Carey Crim’s, Morning After Grace

Hilarious and heart-warming, this unconventional new comedy tackles love, loss, and coming to terms with growing old. After hooking up at a funeral, Angus and Abigail find themselves waking up the next morning wrapped in sheets on Angus’ sofa. Strangers just the day before, Abigail thinks she may finally be ready to take another chance on love, but Angus has a few issues to work through first. Enter neighbor Ollie, formerly a baseball player for the Detroit Tigers who now enjoys golf and yoga. Charming and big-hearted, this comedy takes us on an unexpected journey toward a new lease on life.
“RICH WITH DIALOGUE THAT IS BOTH CLEVER AND HONEST. IT MAKES US LAUGH FROM THE DIAPHRAGM; IT’S FUNNY BECAUSE IT’S EMBARRASSINGLY TRUE.”  – ENCORE MICHIGAN
“WHILE THE AUDIENCE LAUGHED ALOUD THROUGHOUT, THERE WERE ALSO TOUCHING, THOUGHT-PROVOKING MOMENTS THAT REMINDED US JUST HOW MUCH REAL LIFE WAS BEING REFLECTED WITHIN THE PLAY.”  – ONSTAGE BOSTON
“FRANKLY, ONE OF THE FUNNIEST & MOST CHARMING PLAYS I HAVE SEEN IN YEARS. THE HUMOR IN IT IS NOT ONLY STRIKING, BUT VERY ORIGINAL. A HILARIOUSLY FUNNY PLAY ABOUT SENIORS SEARCHING FOR THEIR PAST & SHUDDERING WHEN THEY DISCOVER THEIR TRUE HISTORY …”  – HISTORY NETWORK
