Founded in 2019, Eastern PA Trans Equity Project’s mission is to empower transgender and nonbinary people while building community and advocating for social justice. Headquartered in the Lehigh Valley but serving transgender residents of 16 Pennsylvania counties, they provide legal name change assistance, housing assistance, food vouchers, mutual aid, peer-led support groups, referrals, education, and mentoring to over 1,500 individuals each year. This non-profit believes that transgender and nonbinary people deserve to do more than strive… They should thrive!
