The Pledge

As a member of the Montgomery County LGBTQ+ Business Council, I firmly believe that our community and our economy thrive when they are rich in diversity and inclusion. Workplaces can compete for top talent and marketplaces can vie for top dollar when all feel welcomed, accepted, and respected.

Among the many opportunities to incorporate diversity, I particularly affirm the need to include those who are a part of the LGBTQ+ community. Entrepreneurial spirit, creativity, and innovation are propelled by the inclusion of the people of all orientations and gender expressions. Where there is diversity and inclusion, there is operational excellence. An economically vibrant Montgomery County is a place where people are free of
discrimination in every one of our towns and boroughs.

I personally pledge my intentional efforts to promote Montgomery County as a proud community where LGBTQ+ professionals, citizens, workers, families, and neighbors belong and feel connected.
